SENATE SHOULD VOTE AGAINST THE FRAUDULENT

"NO TAX DOLLARS FOR TERRORISTS ACT"

THIS BILL WILL HARM AFGHAN CITIZENS

How many Americans support funding the Taliban? Not very many. However, there is a bill in Congress that suggests this is a major problem. The No Funding for Terrorists Act is being pushed in both the House and the Senate (It has already passed the House and the Senate Foreign Relations Committee).

This is a highly misleading piece of legislation. What these people are actually trying to do is add a whole series of complicated restrictions on charities that are already underfunded and are trying to help the Afghan people.

Here’s a major factor: the Taliban is the government of Afghanistan. Should you not give aid to a hospital that might be part of the government, even if it is saving people’s lives? According to this bill, you should not. And under this bill, charities that do anything like that could be persecuted and prosecuted by the U.S. government.

The big picture is that Afghanistan was willing to negotiate with the U.S. after the U.S.-backed government collapsed. Instead, the Biden administration seized the assets of the Afghan government and locked them up in limbo.

The people of Afghanistan are in desperate shape. There is no major problem of U.S. money financing terrorism in Afghanistan; it’s simply a lie. What there is, instead, is a major problem of the people of Afghanistan being harmed by American economic terrorism: cutting off aid, freezing Afghan money, and so on.

This bill should be voted down by the Senate. It is a political fraud. It is not trying to solve a real problem; it will further add to the death toll that America has produced in Afghanistan.
